What Is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist is an Allied Health professional who has studied the examination, treatment and management of the foot and lower limb conditions at university. They are your specialist in all things feet.
Do I need a referral?
Generally, no.
However, you will require a GP referral for the following;
– Gold/white DVA card holders (required every 12 months)
– Patients on EPC (Enhanced Primary Care Plan) or GP Management plan’s (eligible for up to 5 Medicare Subsidised allied health visits per calendar year) ** Please note that these appointments are NOT bulk billed or free of charge **
A referral is also required from WorkCover prior to appointment for any work cover clients.
Do you Bulk Bill?
No, we do not bulk bill Medicare services.
Can I use my private health?
Yes, if you have podiatry listed in your extras cover, you will be eligible for a rebate from your Private Health Provider.
What payment options do you offer?
Full payment of your account is due at the time of your consultation. Any health fund gap incurred or balance due is your responsibility.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash. ** no AMEX or Dinners Club cards accepted sorry.
We use Tyro for health fund rebates.
