A Podiatrist is an allied health professional who specialised in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions.

In Australia, all podiatrists must be registered with AHPRA, our national regulatory body. This ensures that we abide by strict sterilisation & infection control measures as well as maintaining compliance with ongoing education and professional development.

No referral is required as a private patient.

If you are seeing the podiatrist through Medicare, DVA or WorkCover Qld, you will require a referral from your GP.

No, we DO NOT bulk bill any appointments and full fees apply.

If you are seen under a GPMP Medicare referral, Medicare will pay a rebate to you after the full fee for the appointment is paid. A submission to Medicare will be done on your behalf at our clinic at the time of your payment. Payments often take 2-3 working days to clear into your account from Medicare.

If you have private health insurance, we suggest contacting them to see if you are covered for podiatry services as it will depend on who you are insured with and what level of cover you have. If you contact us, we can provide you with the correct item numbers and prices for the service that you require so that your health fund can give you an accurate answer.

Full payment is due at the time of treatment, any gap in fee is the responsibility of the client.

Cash, EFTPOS and Health Fund facilities are available for payment.
